KeepClose Support
If you need help, found a bug, or want to share feedback, contact:
We usually respond within 24–48 hours.
Adding people
Tap the plus button on the dashboard, then either type a name or choose "Choose from Contacts" to pick someone with the system's contact picker. KeepClose only reads the one contact you pick — name and photo — and never imports the rest of your address book. After adding a name, set how often you want to be in touch (once a week, twice a month, monthly, or every quarter) before saving.
Reminders not showing
Two things to check:
- Notification permission. Open Settings in the app — if reminders haven't been turned on yet, you'll see a prompt there to allow them. If you already declined, enable notifications for KeepClose from the iOS Settings app instead (Settings → KeepClose → Notifications).
- Reminders are per feature. Gentle reminders, the weekly summary, and the weekly checkpoint notification each have their own toggle in the app's Settings screen. Check that the one you expect is switched on.
If more than one person becomes due on the same day, KeepClose sends a single combined notification instead of several — that's expected, not a bug.
Notifications permission
KeepClose asks for notification permission only when you turn on reminders, the weekly summary, or the checkpoint — not on first launch. If you deny it, everything else in the app keeps working as usual; you just won't get nudges. You can grant permission later from the app's Settings screen or from iOS Settings → KeepClose → Notifications.
Deleting your data
You can delete any single person — along with their interactions and pending reminders — from that person's detail screen. To remove everything at once, delete the app: this removes the entire local database, and iOS does it automatically when you uninstall the app. There's no account and no remote copy, so there's nothing left behind on our end.
What we don't do
- We don't collect crash reports, analytics, or diagnostics from the app. If something crashed, we won't know unless you tell us.
- We don't have account recovery, because there are no accounts.
- We don't have a remote "support session" feature. Everything we can help with happens over email.
